We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, independent, and
results-driven Manager of Respiratory Therapy to join our team. If

A Day in the Life
The Manager of Respiratory Therapy will oversee all aspects of
respiratory therapy operations, ensuring high-quality care,
compliance with regulatory standards, and the professional
development of the respiratory therapy team. This role is pivotal
in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
in care delivery.
How This Position Contributes to Our Mission
--- Manage 24/7 respiratory therapy operations to ensure continuity
of care.
--- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of respiratory
therapy staff.
--- Develop and implement departmental procedures, budgets, and
policies to meet operational needs.
--- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices in
respiratory therapy.
--- Collaborate with leadership to assess and address resident and
facility needs.
--- Lead pulmonary rounds to enhance quality of care and foster a
positive work environment.
--- Drive quality improvement initiatives and introduce innovative
care strategies.
--- Educate and counsel residents and families on respiratory care
needs.
--- Uphold professionalism and promote a values-driven workplace
culture.
Schedule
--- Flexible work schedules to support work-life balance:
--- Choose between 4-day work weeks (10-hour shifts) or 5-day work
weeks (8-hour shifts) on nights.
--- Monday through Friday schedule.
--- On-call availability as needed, with flexibility to ensure
support both in and out of the workplace.
Manager of Respiratory Skills and Qualifications
--- Active, unencumbered Respiratory Therapist license in
Kentucky.
--- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's
Degree preferred.
--- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a hospital,
long-term care, or related facility preferred.
--- A minimum of five years of experience as a Respiratory
Therapist in a healthcare setting preferred.
--- BLS certification required.
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a willingness to
learn other software as needed.
