RoleWe are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to join our
team as the Senior Director of Assembly Operations. This pivotal
role will oversee assembly operations, ensuring operational
excellence, cost-efficiency, and the highest standards of product
quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
managing moderate volume, high complexity machine assembly
environments, driving continuous improvement, and leading
cross-functional teams in a dynamic manufacturing setting.What
You'll Do
- Provide visionary leadership for complex machine assembly
operations, aligning with corporate goals and growth
strategies.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize
efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality and delivery
timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of managers
and assembly personnel.
- Champion lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma
methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive
operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, quality
assurance, and product development to streamline processes and
support new product introductions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and
technologies to evaluate operational performance and implement
corrective actions and improvements as needed.
- Manage budgets, resource planning, and cost control measures
for assembly operations.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous
improvement throughout the organization, aligned with regulatory
and corporate standards.
- Adaptability in applying optimum assembly strategies based on
demand volume and product assembly complexity.What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business
Administration, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree
preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in
assembly operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-site operations and
global teams.
- Experience leading operations through rapid growth, plant
expansions and/or new product launches.
- Strong background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and
continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving
skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal
abilities.
- Proficiency in manufacturing systems and analytic tools - ERP
platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in automation manufacturing.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.Working Environment
and Physical DemandsThe following are representative of the typical

successfully perform the essential functions of this job, you will
be required to:
- Sit/stand at a desk for prolonged periods, primarily sedentary
work.
- Communicate with others to exchange information.
- Operate standard office equipment that may require repetitive
motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Perform tasks that require bending, reaching, pushing, pulling,
lifting, and carrying to move objects.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as
required.
- Office environment with frequent visits to manufacturing
sites.What We OfferThe salary range for this role is
$198,800-225,600 however, Packsize considers several factors when
determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but
not limited to, the role being offered, the associated
