V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Data Scientist for our premier client in Louisville, Kentucky.

Education and Experience - Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field required.
4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python or R and data science libraries
Strong SQL skills for querying databases.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Solid understanding of machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, classification) and experience applying them in real-world settings.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis techniques.
Build and maintain data pipelines in collaboration with data engineers.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business problems and develop data solutions.
Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to track and monitor key performance metrics.
Continuously improve models and algorithms by testing and fine-tuning them based on real-world data.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to prepare data for modeling.
Communicate complex analytical insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and technology to recommend new tools and approaches.
