Onboarding Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating,
and onboarding vendors for the company's e-commerce platform. This
role involves negotiating contracts, ensuring a diverse and
competitive vendor base, and driving sales through strategic
partnerships. The individual will collaborate with internal teams
to streamline the onboarding process, enhance vendor engagement,
and analyze performance metrics for continuous
improvement.Responsibilities:
- Vendor Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure a
consistent supply of high-quality products.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure competitive
deals for the company.
- Act as the primary contact for vendors, addressing concerns and
resolving issues efficiently.
- Vendor Onboarding & SKU Listing
- Onboard new vendors onto the e-commerce platform, ensuring
compliance with company policies.
- Guide vendors through the registration, verification, and
listing process.
- Ensure accurate SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) listings for all
vendor products.
- Monitor and maintain SKU accuracy to enhance product
discoverability and reduce errors.
- Product Listing & Optimization
- Manage and enhance product listings for better visibility and
sales performance.
- Ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are
accurate and optimized for SEO.
- Monitor and adjust product performance based on analytics and
market trends.
- Customer Service & Experience
- Ensure vendor products meet customer expectations in quality,
availability, and pricing.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints related to vendor
products, ensuring timely resolution.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve offerings and
enhance satisfaction.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all vendor products comply with legal regulations and
internal quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and address inconsistencies with
vendors.
- Work with vendors to implement corrective actions for quality
improvement.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with internal teams (purchasing, logistics, customer
service, marketing) to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate company policies, expectations, and updates to
vendors.
- Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance
efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging e-commerce
technologies.
- Absolute Discretion & Confidentiality
- Maintain confidentiality in handling strategic plans, financial
data, and vendor agreements.
- Adhere to company policies and legal requirements for data
privacy.Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing,
E-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in e-commerce, vendor management,
or a similar role.Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools.
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing
strategies.
- Familiarity with inventory management and sales
