Job Description:
A company is looking for a Refund Specialist II to validate and
track credits due to insurance companies, patients, and other
payers.
Key Responsibilities
Review and submit refund requests for approval daily
Track check posting information and update the Credit Balance
Spreadsheet
Prepare Refund Request Forms and assist with audits of adjustments
and payment posting
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of three years of medical billing experience required
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with payor
contracts
2+ years of posting experience and strong working knowledge of
Excel
Basic office skills required; advanced office skills preferred
