TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40202 Pay Information $2,398 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours (18:45-07:15) Experience: 2 years License: KY License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: 2 years of PCU experience Description: This role involves working in a unit with mixed acuity, including Med Surg, Tele, and PCU patients. The position requires flexibility as you may need to float to any Med Surg or PCU unit. The unit has a bed capacity of 21, with a patient ratio of 5 - 6:1. Proficiency with telemetry, IV pumps, SCDs, Alaris Pumps, and lift equipment is needed. Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system is required. Cardiac drip experience is preferred. You will work every other weekend and be scheduled for 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Employees should embody compassion and teamwork. The dress code is galaxy blue scrub tops, with pants in galaxy blue or black.
