TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40202 Pay Information $2,398 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit - Stroke / Trauma Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Experience caring for patients with neurological or trauma conditions Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological, trauma, and telemetry needs. - Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner electronic medical records. - Work collaboratively with the healthcare team as a team player. - Utilize equipment such as PCA pumps, NG tubes, and chest tubes effectively. - Adapt to varying patient ratios, primarily 1:5, occasionally 1:6. - Float to mixed acuity units as needed within the department. - Follow facility dress code, wearing galaxy blue scrubs or galaxy blue tops with black pants. - Work every other weekend and adhere to department policies.
