Job Description:
Zeochem is seeking a skilled and results-driven Process Engineer
to optimize and enhance our chemical manufacturing processes. The
ideal candidate should have:Experience in manufacturing within a
heavy industrial environment, with a focus on process optimization
and continuous improvement.A collaborative and safety-conscious
approach to working with cross-functional teams to drive
efficiency, quality, and compliance.A B.S. degree in Engineering or
a related field, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience and/or
training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
OVERVIEW:The Process Engineer is responsible for assigned specific
unit operations and processes of the Zeochem production process.
He/she is expected to become an expert in assigned processes and
unit operations. He/she assists the Senior Process Engineer in
developing, monitoring, and modifying assigned processes, unit
operations, and equipment for manufacturing molecular sieve
products to meet rate and quality goals. He/she assists the Senior
Process Engineer in implementing production procedures and
protocols as well as assists in training of Shift Leaders and
chemical operators. He/she assists the R&D group with the
implementation of plant trials.Zeochem has a full range of

RESPONSIBILITIES:Become an expert in the assigned field and unit
operations including and understanding both the process as well as
the equipment utilizedPerforming process optimization
studiesAnalyzing operating procedures and equipment functions to
reduce processing time and cost without impacting
qualityMaintaining a database on production information, equipment,
and process capabilityCoordinating procedures to control the
process, movement, storage, and packaging of productsPerforming
tests throughout production stages to determine the degree of
control over variablesWorking with and training Chemical Operators
on various plant processes and procedure changesCoordinating
off-specification production investigations and facilitating
preventive action plansEquipment troubleshooting to optimize output
and efficienciesREQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:B.S. degree in
Engineering or equivalent, plus 2-4 years related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience,
requiredAbility to apply principles of logical or scientific
thinking to troubleshoot system issues or failure to seek root
causeAbility to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete
variablesAbility to facilitate or coordinate activities in a high
