Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Staff Database Engineer to
lead the development and optimization of large-scale database
systems in a multi-cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable operational and reporting database
systems, including data modeling and ETL processes
Lead architectural design discussions and manage SQL Server
environments
Mentor junior and senior engineers while collaborating with
stakeholders to deliver tailored database solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related
field
10+ years of experience with large-scale database systems,
particularly on Azure
Expertise in SQL, SQL Server, T-SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, and Python
(preferred)
Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and database
architecture
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and observability
platforms
